It's that time of year! Time to nominate a Teacher of the Year or Rookie of the Year to be honored at an upcoming DVUSD Governing Board meeting.

The Deer Valley Education Foundation's Teacher and Rookie of of the Year programs are designed to celebrate and honor the contributions of Deer Valley Unified School District's teachers. We want to celebrate and spotlight those exceptionally skilled and dedicated teachers who have gained the respect and admiration of students, parents, and co-workers, and who have the superior ability to help students achieve.

Teachers who are selected as a DVEF Teacher of the Year are honored at a very special award ceremony at the May 12 DVUSD Board Meeting, and receive trophy and a cash award.

1st Year Teachers (Rookie Teachers): The candidate must be in his/her first year of teaching.

Teachers of the Year: The candidate must have COMPLETED his/her 5TH YEAR of teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District by May 2026.
